Upcoming shows

11/1/23

Great fun with Bob Beach last weekend at the Indiana Theater in Indiana, PA opening up for Gabe Stillman!  Staying busy in November with lots of the usual gig spots and a couple different things like Bacon Fest in Easton, PA and a John Prine Tribute at the Newtown Theatre at the end of the month.  Cheers!

Into March we go

Great time at the Woodstown Tavern 1st Tuesday of the month Blues Jam last night with Pat Hughes & Luke Ferracone.  March will see the return of The Keystone Breakers.  We holed up and did some recording over the weekend.

This weekend I'll be solo at Suburban Brewing Company's 322 Taproom in Honeybrook, PA and on to Kennett Brewing Company's 1st Sunday of the month Blues Jam with The Rolling Thunder Blues Revue.

End of Feb. 2022

2022 is just getting rolling.  I'll be closing out February performing with Joe Hillman Friday, Feb. 25th from 6:30-9:30 at the Stottsville Inn.

It was a blast playing some January shows with The Keystone Breakers in Key West!

Onwards!

He explains that he has been Influenced by the subtlety of Mississippi John Hurt, the charisma of Taj Mahal and the omnipresence of Bob Dylan in his life. Paul reflects upon his music education from home, as quoted by Washington Life Magazine:

“The records my parents had around — Dylan and Grateful Dead — were a gateway into all kinds of stuff. All of a sudden you’re listening to Merle Haggard and that’s blowing your mind, then Garcia/Grisman, to Doc Watson and Bill Monroe...”

Paul, now putting out a solo album, self-titled and under the name 400 Bears, spent the last fifteen years as a founding member of the band Mason Porter which Rolling Stone listed in their 10 New Country artists you need to know in 2016. Washington Life Magazine called the band "a perfect example of a successful 21st century bluegrass-folk-rock band.”
